it took me about 20min to draw this one up. gulavw69 gave me the idea to try a 2 pivot chassis. the axle move would be locked out.
what do you guys think?

I had an idea like that a while ago. The only problem I had was the driveshaft binding issue.

 Will there be a torsion bar thru the centerline of the two pivot points centered thru the ceneterline of the brushless outrunner with alumminum sidemount scale size hidden body mounts in the centersection? If so ,pleez inklude pikz in yer potz!

Nuts to the chassis, draw up some innards for those axles and get them produced!!!!
Not realy a fan of the chassis, but for hardcore crawling, It looks like it would work fairlywell, assuming the pivit points turn freely. What are the pivot points made out of? I woud just be afraid that dirt getting between the plates in the pivot points and prevent it from articulating?

Looks good on "paper." Very interested to see it as a roller. Does it pivot on bearings?
Hey man that looks awesome. I cant wait to see it. Have you thought about leaving the arches in the front and rear and still using leafsprings to make it look more scale but perform like a comp rig? Versus mounting the axles to the front and rear pieces. just my 2 cents. I likey8)
Too complicated.
Its a very similar concept to a stick chassis on a clod. Well the suspension aspect of it at least

i could put the arches in the front and rear. going to get this design to work first. i know the pivots will work , they worked on the single pivot i did. i just need to design the attachment for the axles. i can use the stock mounts , 1 on top of the axle and the ones on the rear.

I like this design. I think it will work well.
Get some video of it testing out. I would be really interested in getting one of these.

It's a neat design, but the COG looks like tit would be high.

I prefer tit's large, but high works too...
As for COG, a laydown trans and some creative electronic placement, I don't see it being any worse than say a SW2.
Make a compartment for the battery to be below the trans to lower COG

I don't see it as a scaler, and there's a lot of potential for driveshaft binding, but the concept is interesting. It completely eliminates the problem of axle steer, and with no links to drag your center clearance is very good.
I think this would work for a Super class Clod setup. If you moved the shocks to the side of the chassis you'd lower the CG.
It's one of those things you have to build, just because. I know what that's like
You could lower the COG even more by putting the shocks on the belly area
