Getting email reminders when there are no new posts [Archive]

This has been happening for a while now, just starting to get fed up with it. I will be watching a post, and I will get an email saying there are new replies, but I go there and there are none. Happens VERY frequently. Even happened the other day when the board was having problems with missing posts. I posted something and it got deleted, and I received 2 emails saying I had new replies, but the thread had been removed just minutes after posting.

Whats up with that?

We all get the same crap, this shitty software sends 2 emails for each reply.

I can assure you that this won't happen with the new software.

Happens to me too. I have 6769 e-mail notifications :lol: See, I should only have like 3300 :lol: :flipoff:

when do you think all the buggs will be worked out i have lost 3-4 postings 2 in the tire and wheel forum..............

I doubt everything will be replaced, It is a ton of work to replace threads one by one. Badger will be using his discression and replacing IMPORTANT threads. This cannot happen until the old server we were on gives us a backup, which may or may not happen.

My advise to you would be if you had a thread that was important, and it is now missing, Redo it.
