The 6T 32P looks like too short.

We also got a new gear cutting machine now, within 1 month all of our gears will be replaced with
one piece gear design. We will post in a few minutes a preview in a seperate post.

We are also dropping all of our pinion gear price to $4.99 instead of $9.99. And if there is any custom gears that you guys like to see, just let us know.

TLT-1 locker gear will be available mid next month as well.

Please reply back if you are interested to test them out. We need 2 beta tester.

I could test out 32 pitch pinions for you on a 2.2 or super class clod.

I assume we have to cut our motor shafts to use these... or use spacers between the motor and mount to align the pinions?

GulaVW69, Unimoger, a question for you guys. The F-350 has the same TLT-1 axle right? So the locker will work on both.

We got a F-350 already, but havn't had chance to take apart yet.

thanks for sending me the prototype gears. got them today but immediately noticed a problem.:-( due to the way the gear is made, it only slides into the tip of the motor shaft. the stampede trans spur gear sits too close to the trans for this to work. i thought about spacing the motot back farther but it would still be a problem. if i space the spur gear away from the trans, and space the motor back, this might fix the problem but i think the motor shaft will need to be shortened. since the lathe motors are only $20.00, i will go ahead and cut down the shaft to test the durability of the gear. this might also be an issue with the other popular trans choices (losi, stealth). aside from this minor setback, it appears to be a well built gear. testing will follow shortly.

well, i made a spacer plate for the motor. it is 1/8" thick.

i then cut down the motor shaft. with the pinion installed, there is 2.5mm between the gear and the end of the can.

i also spaced the slipper clutch assembly away from the trans by using three of the tlt-1 cantilever bearings and replacing the spring with a cantilever bushing. the only concern is that there is not enough shaft acting as a pilot within the pinion gear. tomorrow we will hopefully get to test it out.

i got it all together today and noticed a minor problem. the pinion gear doesnt sit sqarely on the motor shaft. it wobbles a bit causing inconsistent gear mesh.

after i removed it and reinstalled it a couple times it still won't center perfectly. i checked the diameter of the shaft and came up with .124" and the hole in the pinion was .1255". this is the same as on all my other pinions. i just think the shaft needs to be able to go farther into the gear as it only has a 3/16" depth. i tried the other 10t gear with the same result. can the hole on the production gear be deeper?
