Lexan Paint for Hard Bodies?

Alright. I alot of extra paint left over from painting my last Lexan Body. Well now I what to paint a Hard Body to match my crawler. Does anyone now how paint made for Lexan bonds with hard plastic bodies. And what kind of clear would one use with that paint.

Does anyone now if it will stick or not?

I dont know, I would think you would be better off using the same type of paint you would use for a model kit.


Try it on a small area inside the body where you cant see, I cant imagine why it wouldnt work

It will stick but I would recommend tamiya model paint for hard plastics. the lexan paint wont last as long but should stick and go on smooth.

I guess I will just buy the Model Paint.

i used engine paint for my tlt. tough stuff doesnt stratch to easy...
