I'm in Senatobia 35 married, w/ a daughter in 7th grade. I have been away from the forum for a while, but trying to get back into checking it daily

I built a 2.2 crawler and want to build a clod based.

My crawler has Falcon Twisted Chassis/ Intergy 55t/tlt axels.
I would love to get with others from this area to crawl. I have never competed just for fun. It would be neat to start a group in MS.:-P

There a few guys North of you, but us MS crawlers are spread out. Check out the ArkLaMs website too. They are a good group of guys and it would't be as far for you to drive as it is for me.

I think we should start a group?????

Most of the MS crawlers aren't that consistent with their activity on here and we are really far apart. It would be cool if there was somewhere in the Jackson area that we couls have a GTG/Comp a couple times a year.

Yea us MS crawlers are spread out all over the state, but we do need to do whatever it takes to start a group. I'm ready to start competing with my 2.2 and scalers. All you MS guys start throwing out some ideas for how, when, and where type deal. I know msrocs and I can handle some stuff down here, but what about some of you center located guys and you others that are further out? Lets get serious about getting something started!

I would be willing to travel. I think it would be a lot of fun. We could get together and as a group decide on how to proceed. Is there any areas around Ross Barnett to crawl. A Saturday would work for me. By reading this forum there a few guys down south, and a few up north. If everyone who would like to participate post a reply in this forum then we maybe get a group started. I agree we need to get serious.

I'm willing to travel as well when possible. Yea wgt is the deal with Ross Barnett? Where exactly is it? I don't always have sat of but sometime and sundays would be fine with me as well. I'm definitely serious about this so ya'l post up your ideas. I'm looking for places down here periodically but I'm as south as you can get so a little out of reach for some. We need some centrally located spots.

I Pmed NitroStar and he is close to Jacson and he is gonna try to check out the Res. ASAP. BD, are you gonna host a GTG when the water drops? We could do a scale GTG on the Coast, just aint much for the comp rigs!

yeah the rez would be a great spot or the spillway. saturdays will be the only option for me, because I work at the Nissan plant and our hours take up all of my week time.

Well we'll just have to wait and see what NitroStar comes up with. Yea we could definitely do the scale thing down here but we'd have to create something for the compers.

Either would be fine. I've never seen either one but I'm sure they'll do.

I like the idea of the scale trails. We could do a folloe the leader type deal. I am working on another scaler too. Do you still have your Rockracer? That thing was awesome in OK last year.

I'm up for anything.

I have a 2.2 comp rig but I just want to run with other folks, so I would even be willing to run the trails (may give me and excuse to build a scaler.) Keep me posted on the water situation. I know the rivers and lakes are high right now the Mississippi River is at flood stage in memphis I believe.

I'm not opposed to hosting something but I have never done anything and it would be a learning experience.

I'm in just let me know what you need me to do.

I seriously drilled and tapped the top for a grease fitting!

That helps BIGTIME!!!!

Well that and the stainless gears with the ratio changed just a bit for a lower low and a higher high...

Thats what most of us started with. You will soon be addicted and want to upgrade. Are there any good spot around the Res?
