Yep, wrong spot.

Decals would be a good good fix. I was just wondering if anyone had used another method. I was thinkng of cutting circles to fit the hole and then using some CA glue to hold them in.

You can put a small peice of tape over the hole on the top, And fill it from underneath with some clear 5 min apoxy.. No sanding needed, And if you do it right you will never see it.. "thumbsup"

Shoe-Goo works also...So I've heard. Haven't tried it myself. Everyone should have SHoe-Goo in there tool box....

Don't use CA glue. It will fog the lexan. Put a decal over it and then fill the back with Shoe Glue or clear epoxy.

sorry i dont know how to fix holes in your body but to stop it splitting and cracking put a product called FENDER MENDER on the inside after painting and it wont split as easy.you will find it in most hobbie shops and you brush it on and it sets in about 30 mins and dosn't effect the paint or lexan "thumbsup"

I use a reamer to make my body posts and dont get much tearing, but that is good to know.

Jb weld, then sand it smooth then paint. cheap easy and strong. btw get JB quick, its a lot faster

That is such a great idea. I just painted my first body, a bushwacker and cut holes in the top. I couldn't find posts long enough so I ended up going with a side mount and I even cut those to high.

So now i have 2 sets of holes that aren't right. yes...I suck at this :).

Next time punch the holes before you paint. Makes it alot easier to line everything up.

Paint it first then put a piece of tape over the hole fill it with shoe goo.
Once it dries you can spray a little paint inside a lid and use a brush to
paint the shoo goo from the out side once the tape is removed. works
well and if done right is hardly noticeable.

what i've done in the past is to use a spare/scrap piece of lexan, paintd the same as the body color, and cut it into a dot about the same size as the hole. Taped it in with some electrical tape.
