These wheels come with a new designed lock ring that works with Masher 2000's, Losi Rock Claws and Moab's, tight and clean. These are the only beadlocks I have ever used that you can put half the screws in, only 4 on each side, pull on the tire as hard as humanly possible and it will NOT de-bead at all!

These wheels are so air tight, that if you want more air in your tires, we suggest drilling one or two 7/64" holes inside the wheels to allow more air in, your choice. Some people like them with a little more air.

Do you have powdercoated rings in stock or is there a wait for them? For that matter, do you have any pics of what some of the other colors look like? Since I'm so full of questions tonight, do you sell the rings (powdercoated) separately?

Those look great with the powdercoat and I really hope they do work better than the first generation ones. I'm still pretty disappointed that the first gen don't seem to hold on to much of anything very well (mashers, geolanders and a set of moabs have all slipped out under light circumstances).

our Powdercoater is not as reliable as we want for right now. So we are not doing any except the brushed aluminum finish, you can paint or pc the rings when you get them. I hope that clears it up, pm me if you have any other ?'s , I am happy to help.

Mine took something like 18 days to get here. I was told they shipped one day, but when the package got here it showed that they where shipped 13 days later. Wasn't to happy about that, but Ben has taken over shipping since then.

Anyway, I am very happy with the wheels, I mounted up a brand new set of mashers and they are locked in TIGHT. I even did the four screw test and couldn't get them off. Also, the offset is dead on without any wideners (which is nice) and they're BEEFY! The machining is also flawless.

Thanks Ben! These rims kick ***. I need to get off my lazy butt and pony up for my third year of stars so that I can post pics again.

My setup is with narrowed mashers. They fit nice, and man are these rims heavy! They'll add a good bit of weight. My one and only suggestion to RD400 and the gang would be to machine a slightly thinner beadlock ring. With my narrowed M2K's they came out looking a bit "chunky".

Overall, a great product with no complaints, and I'd highly recommend them to anyone. The matte black finish kicks a$$!

Got the wheels and mounted them...Planning on using them on a new 2.2 Clod Project with All-T's. These things hold the bead. With only 4 screws, you cannot pull them out.

Our last comp (http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php?t=60321) in the video section. It doesn't have these wheels on and the rear isn't lifted like it is now, but you can see it there. Very capable rig. I will see if I can get some video this up coming weekend with those wheels on there. I got them bound up pretty hard a couple times and they never pulled from the bead. I managed to snap a dogbone before the tires would come out of the bead. :)

That is a sweet rig, I like the batteries over the axle. Combine the batteries with the weight of the wheels and that is extremely LCG.

I would just like to say that I received mine this last week (ocho's) and after inspecting them, I can only assume that you guys are braking even and not ReallY making a profit on these.

These are the 2.2 rims to get! I've told everyone that I know about them (about 30 people) and this summer I'll be boasting them at the tracks that I go to when the crawler just sits and is a show queen at a speed event :D
