I am looking forward to the arrival (later in 2004) of the Maximizer Beadlocks for the TXT-1. Your pics convince me I need them but I would like to narrow them as I have done on my stock TXT-1 rims or even more if possible.

Do the screws go thru the outer wheel shell and into the wider inner shell? if that is the case it makes narrowing them quite a project.

Are there other problems with narrowing them?

Since no one deems it worthy of providing us with narrower rims (or tires) we have go thru this. If we keep hounding them and buy enough wheels and tires they might listen and build what we need.

RockyO, if anybody out there is going to give us narrowed wheels, I figure it would be Maximizer Products. They are the only place that I know of that offers different offsets/backspacing in thier wheels. Thier wheels can be narrowed with simple tools, and still retain the beadlock function. You'll just need to use a strong glue or epoxy to put them back together. I sure will be looking forward to getting the TXT beadlocks!!! Vince

I don`t see why you couldn`t narrow them on the inside. The outside can`t be modded but the inside is wide open for narrowing. I may have to get another pair of tubes and give it a shot, I need to narrow my tires anyway for more contact pressure.

Do we have a more current date on the TXT wheels and will they work with tmaxx tires? That's the question. I kinda hope it'll be a while Cuz I just ordered adapters for TMAXX rims. Damn what to do, what to do?
