ok here is the deal,I need a roll call for a local shop that might be willing to do some crawler comps. It would be in the Langhorne,Oxford valley area(about 20 minutes north of Philadelphia). So if your a crawler thinking about compitition and this would be within your driving area post up so we can get a head count, this won't be a "for profit" deal, but just to get more people involved.if there is enough response I will move forward on getting it up and running.....thanks for your time

Was browsing for GTG's in the area and came across this thread. Myself and a friend would be interested in attending a GTG and Langhorne wouldnt be a bad drive for us. We are just getting into crawling so no functioning crawlers at the moment. Dont know what your crawling location is like and have been trying to think of places around here that might work. The only places I can think of that MIGHT work are Haycock Mountain by Lake Nockamixon, Ringing Rocks Park up by Upper Black Eddy or Ralph Stover State Park. Haycock Mountain has huge boulders to climb on but dont know if theres an area suited to crawling thats easily accessible. I have no idea about the other two since I've been to neither since I was knee high to a grasshopper.
I'd be willing to check them out with someone who has some crawling under their belt to see if they'd work. I'll keep an eye on this thread.

yeah we would like to expand in that direction... hell i am only 10 minutes from northern maryland, 45 from baltimore, and about 1:30 from philly depending on the traffic. i know our club is willing to travel to get some comps going with a larger group.
oh and thanks for the support razor, i believe 929freak is a member on the forums also. feel free to use the forums on our site to build the groups.

Id be willing to come for a gtg down there in oxford, Ive been there when I used to live in trenton for a summer. so far there has been nothing relatively close and there is nooone in my area into cralwing..
btw for future crawl events competitions, gtg...whatever if anyone is interested there is the sickest place about a mile from my house called the Seven Tubs Nature Area. I live in wilkes-barre, Luzerne county in NEPA. you can google seven tubs and get some pics as its national park and has pics online

the pics dont do it justice as there is literally hundreds of acres of spots that you could have a new course every day for the rest of your life. its right off the turnpike too. and not everything is wet;-) but for those that are waterproofed this would be a very fun place.

Smoke,
Perkasie is the place. Freak and me will be heading to York for the fun.
As soon as some more of this snow melts we need to have a GTG at Nox. or Ringing. Freak and I were out Sunday scouting places and found a few spots, our fav was the dam for Nox, the only prob was how to get to the bottom:roll:. PM me and I'll give you my cell.

If anyone wants to carpool out to York this Sunday to save on gas, I have a minivan so I could take a few more people and there would be enough room for your crawlers in the back. Let me know ASAP so we can set up to meet.
