Anyone get their orders from this place yet?
I want to get the shackles for my F-100 tuber Im building, but I need something like this
http://www.worthmarine.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=WPM&Product_Code=FIT-P455&Category_Code=SR
However I need the bolt to be 3mm so it can thread into 3mm nuts already welded in the frame. My question now is does anyone know where I can get such a piece of hardware? Or I wonder if it would be possible to grind off the head of it and solder it to a hex head bolt??? anyone think that would be strong, or even hold?

they do look pretty good, being that small looks dont make much diference being square instead of rounded, the metal itself.

How strong are they? Are they just for show or can they really be used? I'd love a set of them for my jeep build along with the double hooks for a winch and tow strap.

buy a few of em, they are cheap enough. then if you use one and it breaks you got a replacement and know not to use em next time!

I was thinking the same thing about the fairlead but dont think its going to look all that scale!?!
Anyone find out if these are strong enough to be effective. Our scale course says that winching may be necessary

Well, I got my parts in as well. I only ordered one of teh double hooks, I shoulda got a couple more, they are better than I expected. If you look closely, you can see they are actually 2 hooks that are held together with a clevis.

Im not really certain what you would use the swival shackles for?
But these parts are all too small to be use in any kind of suspension rigging. These are strictly for tow points only.
