You can take the diff appart and use hot glue to lock it. Make sure you leave the axles in the bigger spider gears while you do that. Or use epoxy and put a piece of tape over the holes in the bigger spider gear

used '' quick steel '' in mine it works great just take the diff apart clean the grease out make little balls the size of a #2 pencil eraser place balls between the spider gears mash down quick steel between the spider gears till its in there good then you got wk diff locked

But anyways, I would start out by packing it with clay. I did this and has worked great.

Disassemble the diff, clean ALL grease out, fill with JB Weld. As said make sure you keep it out of the axle splines in the side gears.
