What's the best aftermarket chassis for the Wheely King axles? I bought a WK last Sunday and am building the second axle and locking it all up tonight! "thumbsup" I'm planning on using the stock lower link arms and pivots...I like em! Need a comp ready setup with a good chassis that can accommodate the slightly wider (about 3/32") WK crossbraces (that the lower arms pivot on) and am going to use the stock upper A-arm thingys, some T-Maxx, or MGT upper arms.
Any suggestions?

I tried to get Brad aka Bender Customs to make an SW2 chassis without the cutouts in the sides, so I could use the WK trans. in it, but he wasn't interested in making the change in his program then. Maybe if enough of us keep asking him he would do it now? It would still be a good choice to use for the WK even with the Pede trans.

I'll give $15 off to anyone who wants to use a VS for their WK. It'd be $50 shipped and you can still pick your color or bare metal if you so choose.

What's the distance between the vertical plates on the VS?
Also thinkin about using something a little shorter than my AE 4" (110mm) shocks. Too much flex isn't helping anybody crawl better.

The VS is 3" wide between the plates.

I'm going to try a build with an old Jefferson chassis I got laying around. I'll post up some picks if it turns out okay.

Mine is going to be on a k2-3s, probably with a droop set up. I just picked up the 4x4 the other day and I've got to get to it. Too many other projects to do first.

DoubleJ, Thanks for the measurement.
Broncobass, No tubers I prefer a chassis with a truck-like body on it...but you should build the tuber and post your pics.

Hey Nate it's Mike, These shock towers make a good foundation for a chassis. I can meet you a fast tracks some time if you want a closer look.

If you use a pede tranny, then any TLT based chassis will work. Both the sw2 or the newer sw3 would be a good base.

Nate, If you come to a Reno comp with us, King Blind has a comp WK that is a winner chassis. I don't remeber what it was.

Double J,
Forgot to say thank you for your offer, so thank you and I am still undecided and building my WK with the Wheely King tranny. Got one axle locked and the rest is in pieces while I measure and think it all over. :)
