If using a six cell pack attach three cells on top of front upper links and do the same in the rear.

Or stand up the steering servo (slightly to one side) and put all six cells on the front upper link(s) and the axle.

Or you can flip the truck so that the front is in the back and vise versa. Flip the servo arm to the other side so that it feeds the back instead of the front. And switch the buttons on the remote.

Honestly? I'm using the stock battery box, but I've got it lowered. Just undo the screws that hold the back of the box, and drop it down until the top holes are lined up with where the screws went through for the bottom before. It doesn't get any of the weight forward, but it does get it lower. Of course, if you want to balance it, you can't beat the advice you're getting to put three cells each o the top links.
