$189 though. For that much I want servo mount an upper 4 link mout all built into one. The stock housing is not weak, so with out a few added upgrades, I dont see the value. I understand that machining may be expensive, but it would be smarter to buy the F-350 axles at $129/ea. from them since the internal parts are actually available. I would love to find a well made servo on axle/4 link axle solution for my slightly modded WK (Shock mounts not done yet, wont actually be this tall)...

Nice, but would be better if they made the lower link/shock mount peices rotated 90 degrees and all so that they fit the stock axle housing properly when rotated.

And I'm betting those won't be as easy to swap around mounts on as the stock ones either...

from what I read the case is square so the mounts can be mounted as you wish.... good looking stuff, just dont see the need

I just put the shocks there for the pic, I mentioned in the post that I have not put on the actual shock towers yet.

why do you have the tranny and battery mounted on the highest point on the chassis? thats just asking for a rollover. it doesn't make sense.

I swapped in the F-350 3 speed trans, it is particularly tall is the problem, But the truck isn't gonna be anywhere near this tall, the shock are getting raised. And there isn't 1 single clod part on this thing, so you lost me on the clodtalk thing. I took all of the parts out of one of my wheely kings, and just made a custom chassis so I could mount the tamiya 3 speed trans in it.

the clodtalk thing was pretty funny.
i think my 2.2 could drive under that thing as it sits.

Got the shock towers on. The shocks are probably going to be relocated to the outer hole at the axle dropping it another 3/8" (Original lower link mounts are flipped, and are now being used as the shock mounts), but I wanna drive it like this first.

That was always the plan for it, It just took along time to make the mout holes because every hole on this chassis is sleeved so that the rails dont pinch and let all the screws go loose. I actually dont think it would even drive to far the way it was in the upper pics, the drive shafts would bind and snap at those angle when any power was applied I'm sure! I am still waiting for the bearings for the transmission though, and I assembled the trans with out grease knowing I was putting bearings in it before it was driven, I just needed it assembled for mock up. So because of that, a quick test drive is probably a bad idea.

It's a reference to the way it looked.
Much better lowered.
