yeah, but ya wouldnt want to.. it is 7.2 volts but only has somethin like 750 mAh... if you like going slow (no torque) and for short distances.. go for it.

Some of the 1/18th scale batteries are up to 1400 mah... which isn't too bad compared to what comes with the WK (1500mah?). The problem is that the smaller cells can't put out the current very well.
Hop on over the "electronics" section, there's more info about it there.
Ooops... I missed the "Nylint" part.... those are AA size batteries, which are even worse then 2/3A (standard 1/18th batteries) about putting out current if I remember right.
i hate to bring up such an old thread but i was thinking of this today, is there any way to run two in series or parallel to get the run time back up?

you will sill have 750 mah. you have more voltage(i think) but not mah

Only if they're in series. In parallel they'd equal a 1500mah pack, but they don't put out enough current to run a big motor, so it's still not worth it. Also, the mounting dimensions at that point would be bigger than a regular 6 cell pack.
