Honestly, I didn't see much ability or talent over there, as far as building skills. I figured that they would have it down, with the website name and all. Seems that they are more into making sure people don't say the word "poo", instead of building cool scale rigs. They are all obviously on the look out and are intimidated by someone from the outside coming into their small little world.:lol:

I'm comfortable with however a site wants to be, but their rules are listed in the FAQ before you sign up and it gives you a pretty good idea of what to expect, which is pretty much the opposite of here. If you don't want to abide by those rules, don't sign up and complain when a mod says something. It's as simple as that.

Yes, they do. Some forums I visit don't allow swearing or anything of any kind, but some you can say just about whatever you feel like. I'm fine with that, but I don't expect to be able to do whatever I want wherever I want just because it's allowed on this or that site. If you don't like the site, fine, don't go there anymore. Dirk, while I'm sorry you were insulted/angered whatever because your thread had been locked, the simple reason for that locking was to keep the topic from spiraling downward into a toilet. Our goal is have a board that is open for anyone to read without being offensive to 90% of the people out there. You may call that PC or whatever, I just call it having good manners. You can get your point across without having to resort to cussing or other language or gestures.

Personally, I cuss like a sailor when I'm around people I know, but out of respect for those I don't know I maintain a sense of awareness of my language. Thats the way we run our board.

I don't come over here (or on Scale4x4rc.us) and tell Jason how to run his board, but if you feel the need to bash us over the way we run ours then so be it.
