Chassis Ideas

I am wondering what to use as a chassis. I am thinking of either using shock towers from another vehicle or just making a layout and hand milling it from 1/8" aluminum. With towers all i have to do is drill new holes for the tranny and thats about it. Aluminum would take longer but also be super cheap.

Any other ideas?
