I just finished building my PTI Goliath Rock Crawler and I am having a few problems

1. Major chassis torque when I push the throttle the front left wheel picks up off the ground (I am using an older Kyosho USA1 stock motor..not sure of number of turns)

2. my suspension cantilever binds like mad...and puts the truck into 1/4 deformed mode. Any fix like cantilever limiter?

Thanks in Advance
Darrell

Torque roll is a common problem with shafties. Screw the preload collars down on the left side to limit it.

For the cantis, remove the shock and make sure they are not screwed in too tightly. Do they have bearings in them? If not, add them.

I ordered a 55t motor, and am using a super rooster esc powered by a 2 cell lipo. Should that be enough?

will post pics later

You're off to a good start, pics would be great! :) Stiffer shock spring and/or oil in the one rear shock will help too...if the pre-load is not enough. As Skeeno said it's hard to eliminate all torque twist in a shafty rig.

I'm assuming your familiar with lipos, but I'll just mention that the Super Rooster has no voltage cut-off, so be careful. As soon as you notice a drop in throttle performance, stop running so you can avoid over-discharging the battery.
