View Full Version : How Wide Is Too Wide?

I have extended the width of my goliath. The new width is 11 3/4". Is that to wide on a goliath. It just seems wierd lookin, and a little low since I put moabs on it. What do you guys think? Thanks Raped_Ape. P.S. I just received a front battery mount for the goliath, from the pti factory. I cant wait to put it on. It looks like the rear mounting plate for the rear, but it has the holes lined up for the front of the chassie. Ill post pics when I get it on I have to file It down a bit to fit it in behind my gd600 gear reduction unit. Raped_Ape"thumbsup"

What size battery is it meant for? The same 5 cell hump style? A 6 cell 2/3a stick style holder would be ideal...

That must look very weird...about 10.5" overall width is plenty for a 2.2 shafty any wider and it looks stupid, plus it's often better to squeeze through than have to go over everything.

Like to see pics of that battery mount plate. Good that PTI is finally responding to the 2.2 crawling comp market!

That only works if the pictures are already posted on the internet somewhere. Not likely he is running a web server on his home computer he can post the URL of.... :roll:

No kidding??? :flipoff: There are many free pic hosting sites if you look. Here, I'll help you... photobucket, putfile, etc. :roll:
