OK. I got most of the truck together but I'm having a problem with the suspension. When I push down on the front or back it does not come back up. I checked all the screws and none of them are over tight. I was thinking it might me the springs are too weak. If anyone could help that would be great.

Thanks

Have you tried adjusting the pre-load on the shock bodies? Compress the springs a little and you should notice a difference. Don't glue those tires to the stock rims!!! Buy something else that uses a hex.

Well, that was easy. Don't know why I didn't think of that:?

I already glued the tires, but I drilled out the holes and put bigger pins in the axles. That should hold me over until I get some better rims and tires, then I'll go with the hex.

Thanks kawika

dont put too much tension on the springs, with a crawler you dont need it too fully uncompress, or it wont make much of a difference anyway. you could even call it a partial droop setup "thumbsup"

Exactly. Some extra down-travel is a welcome thing. It keeps your ride height lower which lowers your CG and helps the rig climb. In certain situations, as you crest an obstacle, you can actually see how the front wheels will extend out a bit, "reaching" over the crest and helping pull the rest of the rig up.

It also helps keep all four tires in contact when your suspension is all twisted up and keeps your rig from unsettling when your suspension returns to a more neutral state coming out of an uneven section.

Thanks guys. As soon as I get my batt. mounted the way I want it I'll be able to test it out. As of now, every time I try to climb something it falls off  I think I'm gonna relocate my front body mounts so it will lay flat.
