Ok so I just got a few 3300 batteries in and I charged 2 of them up. went out and started to test the life of each battery. I was about 45 minutes into driving when i decided to get a little heavy on the throttle. Next thing you know the truck starts to sputter and dies. i sit there and turn the steering and it works, but the truck will not go forward or reverse.

I let the truck sit for a second and then it starts back up. i thought it was just a loose connection but then i get back to my house and i take the body off and feel around and notice that my ESC and motor are hot as HELL!!!!

Is this why my WK dies even with a full battery?

if so what can i do to fix it? brushless motor? new ESC? add a little fan?

any help would be GREATLY appreciated. THANKS`

Jolt esc? It is having a thermal shutdown. It keeps the esc from burning up. Might wanna add more gear to help.

Scrap the esc and replace with a better one. Everybody has had a lot of problems with the stock esc shutting down from over heating."thumbsup"

Mine was doing that and it ended up being the tamiya power adapters. Just switch them out to deans plugs and it should help. O and I also have 96/15 gears now and 55t motor and the stock esc is giving me no problems at all.
