Quick question...

So ive got a lathe motor coming for my WK and i was just wondering if the stock pinion will bolt right up or do i need to get another? Im just trying to get everything together befor i yank the stocker. Thanks!

The stock gearing will match right up.
I'm still waiting for a new pinion and spur so I just installed the lathe motor with the stock. Works great :)

Great thanks. I cant wait to get put it in so maybe the stock esc will quit overheating so much.

while you have it out.
you might as well put a 96 spur and a smaller pinion.
they only cost a couple bucks.

I would suggest a 13 tooth pinion!"thumbsup"

I fried my stock esc as soon as I put my lathe in mine.

you really should ditch that turd of a esc!

I liked using a 96 tooth spur and a 12 tooth pinion with my 75 turn lathe motor.

Works really nice and is easy to install."thumbsup"
