I'm using a Futaba 3PM FASST Radio. (The new 2.4 Ghz radio from Futaba)

Futaba 3PM FASST. Its the only radio that changes codes every two sec, with over a million codes, other radios lock on to one code.

BeeRC,
I'm not sure if it can be programmed for a rear-steer or not(crabwalk ability). I was curious myself if it could be done. You can have a y-harness to another servo for regular 4 wheel steer though. (< not good for rocks IMO)
The 3rd channel is a click button...so Im going to use it for a dig setup on my Ax-10 when I gather the correct parts.

Yes it can!
I have one of these radios. Got it off ebay. Downloaded the manual just a while ago. Can the 3rd channel be made to steer with the steering wheel and then be turned off with a switch? Or how do you have yours setup?

Yes it can!
I read & found out how to "Mix" the 3rd channel with the steering . But, I can't figure a way or button assignment that I could disable it while running. Do you know how Crispychiknhead?

I will be using a DX3.0 and a PunkSteer computer from http://clodmodracing.com/, hooked to two 8711 Ultra-torque servos (over 800oz of combined steering torque).
I also have two kits commin' so I have the parts for rear-steer, and anything else I break. :-P
P.S. Don't tell anyone... I'm trying to keep my setup a secret till the truck is finished!

Man, that is some sick servo! 400 oz. in. of torque:shock:! Please let us know how good the Steering computer works. I want one, but I want to be able to use it with my XS3 without having to mod it (wanting on/off proportional rear steering).
