Just a suggestion:
How about adding a "Hi-bred Forum" and a "Tuber Forum" for custom builders.

I have a hacked TXT-1 with custom straight axles using Maxx parts and Associated shocks. Is it a TXT1 or a Maxx Crawler? I plan in the future to build my own chassis with a tube rollcage (not a full tuber, but more like a streetable rig).
Thanks

That is why there is the General Crawlers section. No reason to make soo many sections. Just put it in General and be done ;-)

You would classify your rig according to what axles or differentials your using. Yours would be in the maxx section.

Hmm. Guess not if you look at it like 1:1, but most people don't have stock frames under there RC trucks.

So you would go by the chassis?

If you had a Toyota with D60's but stock frame and motor it would be a Toyota

If you had a Suzuki with stock frame, Toyota axles, Toyota motor/trans/tcase it's still a Suzuki

So I guess it all comes down to the chassis.

That is, unless you have a custom frame, which most people do. Then what? Go by the axles? I think so.

then you just throw it into General crawlers because it has no classification ;-)
