Lemme bounce this one off you guys. The Wheely king has the battery at the back making it easier to tip over when crawling. To get the battery more forward you have to run a split pack/ small pack, or some fancy engineering. Why can't you mount a servo on the rear axle for steering , swap the motor wiring to run in reverse and run the truck "backwards" ?? The gears are all straight cut, the only problem might be motor timing, or the truck might be too nose heavy now for downhill. Any thoughts on this appreciated.

you can filp the chassis so that the battery is in the front.
and if you use the motor that came with the kit it wont run very well wired backwards.it would crawl alot better with a diffrent chassis like bender, scorpion ax-10, reign j2-tt, rcp hustler etc. try a custom tranny mount for the stock tranny,or another tranny like axial,traxxas,r2 etc.
