GC-1 Competition Chassis
Gatekeepers Designs would like to thank you for choosing our product. We hope that you will enjoy it just as much as we do. Below are the instructions on the GC-1 Chassis the way it was designed and tested. Any questions feel free to contact us.
This Kit Includes
· 2 - Chassis Plate
· 2 - Upper Link/Servo Mounts
· 1 - Delrin Skid Plate
· 4 – Standoffs
· 4 - Pan head Bolts
· 4 - 4/40 5/8 Allen Bolts
· 4 - 4/40 3/8 Allen Bolts
· 8 – Nylon Lock Nuts
You Will Need
· TLT-1 Axles or AX-10 Axles
· Stampede Transmission or AX-10 Transmission
· 8 – Revo 102mm Pushrods (Traxxas P.N. 5318)
· Upper and lower TLT-1 axle stays (Tamiya P.N. XXXXXX)
· TLT-1 Body post (Tamiya P.N. xxxxx)
· 4- 4 inch shocks (Traxxas P.N. XXXX)
· Drive shafts of your Choice (We use Revo Intermediate Shafts)
· Electronics - Servos, ESC, Batteries, Transmitter/Receiver
· Miscellaneous Nuts, Bolts and Screws
· Basic Hobby Tools
Lets Get Started
1. Install single hole axle stays on the Outside holes closest to the curve.

2. Install the servo mounts to the second slotted hole from the curve and the hole directly parallel to it.

3. Now for TLT Axles you need to trim off and drill the uprights coming off the original servo mount location.

4. Mount the two holed axle stays to the inside of the axle

5. Mount the upper link/servo mount with the curve to the front of the axle. Putting nuts and bolts in the orignal location of the stock uprights.

6. Now some trimming will need to be done to the stampede Transmission. On the bottom of the trans there are two round mounts that need to be cut so that the transmission can sit flat.

7. Its time to mount the trans to the skid plate using the supplied Phillips head machine screws.

8. Install the side plates and lower links to the skid plate using the pan head allen bolts and lock nuts.

9. Now install the upper links to the chassis plates using the supplied 4/40 5/8 allen bolts and lock nuts.

10. Mount the lower links to the axle stays on the inside of the axle in the lower hole. Then mount the upper links in the upper link mounts.

11. Install the standoffs near the shock holes on the top of the cassis plate and also near the center.

12. Now install shocks, the TlT body post will fit between the shock and the cahssis plate to make for proper spacing off the chassis.
13. Now install electronics and wheels and go hit the rocks.
