make a comp that isn't only rockcrawling. someone should make a event that starts out with a tow test then a frame twister than a mud pit then a hill climb and then a obstacle course and then a last event that has 5 water holes that get proggressively deeper that are lined out in a canyon like trench.

Because it's hard enough to get some guys togeather to go crawling, much less plan a compition around a number of courses that would most likely have to be built in a location that everyone could get to. Also you try to find ten or so guys that are willing to subject there rigs to water/mudd (I'll never understand the fear of water among r/cer's :flipoff: ).

I think there should be other comps besides rock crawling, but not so complicated and set up as you explained. Some wet rock beds, dry rock crawling, and a tank trap with a mud pit would be killer. That's what I plan on building over at my parents house.

Dave.. Time to get a SR. I flopped/dunked the 'Tot into a small water hole on Sunday and the SR went down under, got wet and kept on truckin'.
Time to ditch the go fast setup man :flipoff:

What I love about the EVX is I can break it, then send it in and get a brand new one. Hard to beat that. I figure after I send it in 3-4 times and I've REALLLLY gotten my moneys worth, and I see reason to play in water obstacles, then I'll put the EVX in the GF's buggy and take her SR... She is too low to play in water anyhow :)

cause i hate that queer 1:1 crappy comp as it is :flipoff: the reason most have only rock comps on this site is probably because its a RC rock crawler website :flipoff:
mud just flat out sucks. i had enough of that BS when i had my Yota

...why doesn't someone...
ARRCO comps are just like that. All sorts of venues, rocks, hill climbs, mud, jumping, whatever your pleasure.
They are talking about another event maybe Novemberish?
