My truck is now a night and day change you won't see tell sunday. Went for the low style crawler. you don't need 90 degrees of travel for this course, already tested it. going there monday to se if there is still water

cool good to see some new people out there. Its all in fun, just trying to best each other. David got some new markers we are going to try out. When we get a little bigger we can do more formal stuff.


Also, we are going to do a r/c crawling demo at Hobbytown in Grand Blanc for anyone who is interested, let me know. Not sure on a date yet, probably whenever works best for the majority. It will probably be after the 4th of July. It will be a man made course, and probably will do a club build day to design and build it. We want to do something portable so we can take it anywhere and do some crawling.

well there will be at least 2 stock trucks there, probably 3. Then you will have the mod trucks, then the mini trucks. Just something to think about when designing.

I had my car worked on at hobby town and got it back and my xxtra reciever did not work. I use this reciever on my crawler, drifter, and my xxxt. Now I have to send it in to novak and I have to buy a new one today to crawl tomarrow. could have worked on it my self but I did not have a iron. $114 new reciever $6.84 tax $priceless running it

well apparently I should have read both pages you guys are a little over 1 and a half hours away but I may still make it out not sure. Also for a portable rock course for demos look into maybe some hand carved rocks made of foam mounted to some type of board that you can fold up If I make it on the 5th I will explain it better.

There will be a scored comp. But there's lots of play spots too for the people who don't want to compete and want to just run their rigs.

you will start off with 0 points. lowest score wins

1) +1 if you knock off a marker. does not count if you touch it

2) +4 if you go threw gate after a marker has fallen off

3) +5 if you go threw a gate while your truck is on top of the marker. does not count if your tire is on it.

4) +10 if you bypass a gate. must have 8 points on a gate to do this will not add 8 points only 10

5) +1 if you have to move the trucks front or rear, can't pick up the whole truck

6) +2 if you have to pick up your hole truck.

7) +3 if your truck breaks, 4min time limit to fix it befor you have to bypass it and add 8 points.

8) +1 if your truck flips or rolls, still counts if you land on all fours.


no moving rocks during your or someone elses run

keep track of your score,write it down.
should we run one comp run after another, and play the rest of the time, or run one comp then play then charge again for the next comp and so on. hope you can understand that

that would rock! if anyone could do a saturday crawl, that might work out well to, as long as its my saturday off. my wife has saturdays off, so we could come down as long as she isnt being a party pooper. I know she would want to drive, but she is a balls to the balls type driver. has no concept of slow and steady. lol

I almost was not ready yesterday either because it took like 2 whole weeks for the other markers to come in. shiping is so slow at the hobby town. I don't mind going over to riders to pick up something on time.

I wanted to order some new imex swamp dawgs but they told me no because they said they needed to order alot to get any thing from imex. also I had something on order from newera and still did not come in after 11 month so I told them I did not want it any more an about a month later they had all new parts from them.
now I have some parts for my new air brush on order hope I will get them by july because I have like 4 things I need to paint lol. I still like the no matter what.

sorry herzog doesnt look like time or the price of gas (to come crawl with just 1 person) is going to allow me to. we were on vacation all week and were supposed to get home wednsday but ended up staying an extra day (we were camping at sleeping bear dunes) so I was stuck crawling at a campground all week untill the day we were supposed to leave my clod stripped the front servo.
but i will have it fixed soon.
