Some time this spring, I'd like to plan a GTG in NYC (Central Park) for all the crawlers in NJ, NY, CT and beyond. There are many, many awesome places to crawl in the park.

Matt I'd be down for that! I didn't realize CP had decent crawling.

Matt I'd be down for that! I didn't realize CP had decent crawling. It has great spots. Scout it out sometime when you get a chance. I think you'll like what you find.

I know, I haven't forgotten about you. ;-) Soon as I get my schtuff together, we'll hook up.
There is a good crawling spot about an hour from my house towards the upstate area but I wouldn't want to do it in the cold.
I just liked having a buddy around who I could get together with at the drop of a hat to crawl, work on the trucks, shoot the breeze, etc. Hell half the fun was talking about ideas.

Upstate. Near Saratoga Springs.
Noob to RC crawling. I just got my E-Maxx this week. The tires aren't even dirty yet. I crawl a 1:1 Jeep TJ lifted, locked/limited.
www.adirondackjeeps.com (http://www.adirondackjeeps.com)
A few of us in the club have crawlers. Our first meeting of the year is this weekend. I think that about half of us will have a RC rig along with our 1:1's.
rockman27: Is there anywhere to crawl around the Menden Pond Park? My in-laws live in in the same town as you. I walked through the park once but I don't remember much other than there were some good wooded sections with hill climbs. Maybe some rocks too?

Yea, traffic... it SUCKS! lol
Once the warm weather starts getting close, I'll press this some more to see what we can arrange.
To anyone who wants to try crawling but doesn't own one... I own quite a few crawlers and would be more than happy to let you use one if you want to hook up too.

Hi
New here!
Can someone show up if they don't have an extreme crawler like the ones that are being made these days? I'm headed to my Parent's house to get my old Toyota Bruiser. Hope it still works. I plan to run it in Prospect Park if it still works. It's been in the basement for about 15 years.

Clodz ,we get together a s much as possible out here in the Bronx. Weather permitting of course. We run out at Orchard Beach which is basically inside Pelham Bay Park. You would not believe the rocks. I or someone will post when we will try to get another big turnout. Keep on the lookout.
