I'm near Saratoga Springs, NY. I've heard of a nice rock garden at Skidmore College and I'm going to check some of the local state and muni parks.
There are some nice sections of old stone walls, old mill foundations, etc close to me.

I live 20 miles East of Rochester and found a great place to run in the Penfield/Panorama area. More of a trail run with some nice size rocks n stuff.

I'm in Rochester(Charlotteto be specific) and know that Cobbs hill park is a great place for a trail run, especially after rain... minimal rocks, but the terrain is nice, bunch of good places for hill climbs as well.

That spot is a bit bigger then it looks. My old 2.2 comp rig fit inside of those little valley type areas. I cant decide on a comp rig or a scaler. I was gonna do a scaler because their was not many people in new york and all of a sudden their is. I may be deciding on a comp rig now. That area is not in Rochester it is in dexter new york

Nice spot izzer. I'll bet there are some equally good areas at the south end of Cayuga lake. Taughannok or Treman State Parks. Even Buttermilk falls in the summer when it is relatively dry.

I'm in Cohoes NY about 10 to 20 mins away from Albany. I'm looking to start up a crawler club if there isn't one around this way already. There aren't too many places around that carry many crawler parts specifically but there are a bunch of lhs's in the surrounding areas as mentioned in earlier posts. Where are people crawling these suckers? once the weather gets nicer out and i get my truck together and running i'd like to meet up with some fellow crawlers and find some hot spots maybe get some events going. just throwing out ideas.
