| benefit crawl april 13 9am date: april 13, 2008 start time: 9:00am location: bulldog canyon ohv area this is gonna be a run what ya brung type deal. we will have courses set up for 2.2s and supers plus a trail run for scale trucks. the trail run is open to 1.9 and 2.2 equiped rigs and 2.2 comp rigs(if you wanna mess around). and if you feel like bringing any other type of rig (buggies, stadium trucks, minis, micros, any electric ect) feel free cuz there are lots of cool places to drive. paddles recomended for all other non crawler vehicles. this area in more of a 2.2 area that has few challenges to offer for 2.2s and supers. its a challange for most scale rigs and lower tech 2.2 comp rigs. super stuff consists alot of side hills and such. be prepared for some fun. parking is good but located at staging area outside of gate. as far as i kno i (unless my buddy shows up) will be shuttling from the staging area to the crawl spot. the walk is not that bad but there are a couple small hills. |

It sure turned out to be a beautiful day for crawling !!! Damon picked a nice spot to crawl, good traction, great courses, and VERY challenging. The light turnout didn't stop us from having fun and raising a few dollars to boot. Damon's new RTR Scorpion did very well. It's a solid starting point for anyone interested in RC crawling. Josh had some fun with Sharky. Buster surveys the 3rd course. |
