|  West Valley Crawling?
So there are a few of us out here on the west side and everyone I talk to haven't found much here on the west side. Today on the way back from running some errands, I was heading west on McDowell between Litchfield and Bullard rd and saw something with a lot of potential... There is a Water Treatment facility on the north side of McDowell there that has a little Greenbelt/park setup. Some flowing water and a TON of rocks, maybe 100yrds of large rocks stacked as a side of the park. Looks very promising. There is Grass, Tree's, Shade, Ramada's and lots of parking in the parking lot adjacent. Its a little public park they setup there, and I bet would make for some good crawling. The address is 14222 W McDowell Rd, Goodyear, Arizona 85395. Google it up and you'll see the park I'm talking about. I'm not sure how they would feel with a large crowd there, but I will ask the management when they are open to see if I Can obtain some permission as well... It might be a nice spot for a West Side GTG... I think I'm going to head out there Sunday morning and see what its all about, anyone else care to give it a shot? |

Thats a bit of a drive for a scouting, not sure if it will be worthwhile for you... New Papago sounds good too though for me... I haven't been there yet, only Old Papago... We'll see if there is any other interest in this west side experiment, if not I'll go to papago...

Alright, I'm going to head to New Papago as well in the moring... 7am is when you'll be there? I'll do my best to get there at that time too... Anyone else?

Went to the park off mcdowell and bullard, got a couple pictures before I realized my memory card was in my laptop and only had a 16mb card  Most of it is to big for 1.9's and almost to big for 2.2's. some nice lines can be found though.       |

Cool pics... we'll have to get a few rigs out there and start finding some lines through those rocks... The grass and shade would be a nice change of pace  |
