I think I'm gonna come out after the morning GTG with the other guys to join you all.

I should be out there around 11-11:30 with 2.2 and scaler in hand.

Default I should really read the details on the map

well guys I tried to meet up with you guys but i didn't notice the "need 4x4 and permit" part of the google map. woops lol, I think i made it to the general area but had a hard time finding the entrance to the trail or road that led to the rocks. Maybe next time i can hitch a ride or meet up with one of ya before you hit the dirt. On a positive note, I am real glad i got off the freeway when i did, the 60 was a joke heading eastbound when i finally decided to bail. miles of traffic. Anyhow if anyone wouldn't mind giving me there # or some way of keeping in touch with yall i would really dig it.

damn, im starting to think i was in the wrong spot afterall. i stoped and asked some old dude at this little hillbilly store for help with the map and he pointed me to the lost dutchmans state park parking lot and then i started looking for the entrance to the spot where you guys were. well its all good. i hope to see some pics still so i know what kind of terrain is out there and ill have my rig in better shape for the next gtg or comp. After i couldn't find yall i went to new paps where i live and my slipper when south. I really wish someone would of come up with a good driveline dig for the nightcrawler, damn all these moving parts. well i still wouldn't mind having a way to contact someone besides this forum. if anyone is cool with that kind of thing shoot me a pm with your # and ill be in touch. I litterally live 2 mins away from all the papago stuffs. Im glad you guys had a good time and hope to join ya soon.

Sorry I couldn't make it after all guys. I was a little burnt after crawling till 11. I hope to get out to Mini Moab soon though I can sure use the practice with my 2.2 and I can never get enough scale crawling!

I had a great time yesterday. I sure missed Brian. We could have had a hell of a crawl thru all the water crossings. As it was I had to do my own thing. Marc, Mike will post the pics up so all of you can have a look see!

Default Pics from Sunday

WOW!!! What an awesome day at Mini Moab. The weather was perfect.

A nice beach front spot in front of the rocks, You couldn't ask for much better.

Dad thought it was a nice day for some scale crawling.

See scalers and compers can get along!
