Any one that would like to have a west side get together Sunday the 12th post up. I am thinking of ether Dunlap & 14th st Or Thunderbird park posted by Toylxl2 & Justin in chit chat. I know that there is some good crwaling to be had at Dunlap & 14th st . Dunlap & 14th st . Take the 60 West to I-10. Take I-10 West to 51 North. Take the 51 to the Northern Exit. Drive about 1.5 miles west on Northern to 12th Street. Take 12th St North to Dunlap. Take Dunlap East about 2 blocks. Just after you pass 14th street the Firemans hall will be on the South side of the street. Thunderbird park Posted by Toylxl2 & Justin in chit chat. if your comeing from the south you would take 59th ave and it turns into Pinnacle Peak Rd. And your in the park. Theres a few entrances on both sides of the road. north of loop 101 . Justin, Can you get us better directions? Let me know which one sounds better to you guys. |

last time i was thier the entrance on 59th ave. was closed but you can go in the one off of Pinnacle Peak Rd. to get thier from the south you can get on the I-17 North and get off on Pinnacle Peak Rd. and head west. keep going past the water park on the left, then you will see a stop light right befor the road turns. the entrance is befor the light on the left. if your coming from the west you can get on the 101 and take it north around to 59th ave after you get off thier go north keep fallowing it, and just befor it curves in to Pinnacle Peak Rd. you will see a stop light the entrance is just after that.

If I get my parts, I will be there. Otherwise I will have nothing to run.

It needs a new battery pack. I have a spare but I didn't want to hack it up just yet.

I know how that is. I just fried a cell in one of my custom packs. Now I have to ether hack one of my stick packs or get a new one to hack up.

Ok, I checked out the Thunderbird park location. We will meet there this sunday the 12th. It is just east of 55 ave on Pinnacle Peak Rd. If your coming form 59th ave. It is just past the light of 55 ave on the right. You will see the dirt parking lot from the light. The Thunderbird park location looks like it will be a challenge for unlimited and the 2.2 trucks. I ran my 2.2 stick for a five minute test run and it was not easy.the only bad thing is there is a little walk to get to the rocks. Man can't wait till sunday. I will be there at 8:00 am. See you guys there. |
