Don't know where yet. Maybe 48th street south mountain park. I want to hike to a spot I saw on google earth. I'll post up the coordinates.

I won't be able to this weekend. I'm thinking Sunday on Thanksgiving weekend is going to be my next trip. There would be some cool stuff up by Fat Mans Pass, but it's a couple mile hike to get there. |

Wish I could make it... There is a parking lot a little west of your marker. Mormon trail might be worthy of scaling on it's own. If you keep going onto Hidden Valley trail you will find (ironically named) Fat Man's Pass. We hiked in from National/Pima Canyon trail but that would be a far hike carrying and RC, and driving would make a long day. Once you get on top it's fairly easy hiking though. Have fun... I'll be on daddy duty and building shelving in my garage. Yeeeaaa... where's that sarcasm smiley when you need it. |
