AZ Summer Shootout in Prescott
 

Wow !! What a weekend .... Started with a last minute step up from out local hobby shop National Hobbies to sponsor the event, followed with the drive to Prescott with the dreams of cooler temps !
Weather was pretty HOT !! great turn out for the competition and the G6 running of RC scale vehicles . Erin and Brian set hundreds of gates for the 2 days that were Fun and challenging!
As a proud dad I have to toot my horn and give my kids a shout out for winning the 1.9(Shay) and 2.2(Sierra) G6 event.
Back to the competition of 2.2s-2.2p-1.9-and Supers
These guys set up some challenging courses and had judges that tolerated the intense Heat all day..with KJ running his ass off to making sure judges had water
I'm surprised he didn't fall over with exhaustion!!
Congrats to all the winners and THANK YOU to all that made this event happen!!
Hope to attend this Az Shootout next year .... The rock in Prescott is Awesome

Very hot but still had a good time. Now that i have been to my first National level event, I know what to expect and will be much better prepared for next time. Big thanks to all of NARCCA that put in the countless hours to make it all happen and to all of the awesome sponsors that put up some sweet swag for this event. I managed to walk away with a $40 gift card to National Hobbies"thumbsup".

I have to agree with Nick, and I didn't even compete, But I hope to next time. It was a very cool event and many thanks go to the sponsor's and judges who helped make this event what it was.

We were all saying too bad you weren't there to get all the good vids. I got nothing except one pic of the exo out on the rocks. After I broke the Ford I took the exo out for a bash.
