Been doing crawling for about 8 months now. We've been out on a few scale runs and been to a couple gathering but we are still a bit noob on the comp details. My son has an SCX10 Jeep Cherokee and I've got a 2.2 wraith, are these okay? Any other info, or a site I can go to with details is helpful too.

Thanks,

For the scale comps those will work. This season they decided to make a comp class and scale class. Come out to mini moab on the 20th and just have fun. They courses are always a challenge and fun. Plus you can meet a great group of people who I'm sure can explain this a heck of a lot better then I can

Okay so it sounds like we are all set.

Mini Moab 7am, comp will start at 8am.

We will be running 3 -10 gate courses with an 8 minute time limit each.

Gates will be 16" minimum.

I will be on location @ 6:30 getting set up if anyone would like to help.
We will also need at least two judges beside myself but more would be great to help move things along.

This is a scale comp, if you have a winch you must use it. Folks without a winch can ask for an assist by the judge and will receive an extra penalty.

See you all there.

Cage is welded, well, some molten metal boogers were thrown in its general direction. Barefoot and absolutely no safety precautions make for ugly welding.

Where is bad lands? I don't mind either way but we better get it figured out. I just found it on the map Marc posted and can see no reason to go to Mini Moab when Bad Lands is just up the street.
I vote move it to bad lands.

my opinion is to have the comps in the same location, just not on top each other, so new comers can have the option to choose. to me, both areas are similar, badlands has a much better possibility of pro comp lines. the lake back ground scenery is a plus, mini Moab starts low and u can drive up and down, badlands starts high and u work your way down, then back up.
