2014-2015 Season Thoughts

I know it's still dang hot out there but I think it is time to start thinking about our fall season schedule.

I know that we have split again this year with the scale guys at ASTR which I feel is bitter and sweet (maybe I can hit a few now).

The other problem now is to not clash with scale dates and Prescott NARCCA dates to get the most out of our season.

Looking for some input from our fellow members.

going to be hard to schedule dates that don't either conflict with Narcca or Astr
from now till the middle of December, maybe start in Jan and run to march?
1/4, 1/18, 2/1, 2/15, 3/1, 3/15 maybe?
those dates will avoid silent sundays at south mountain/9 tables

it would be sweet if the PARC schedule started when we end and those dates look good to me , do I need to draw up a schedule flyer for you guys?

judging on the interest of this thread I may as well, I know marc and mike are wanting to do a season but they are MIA as of now.

if you guys want to set up locations for those dates I'll draw it up for ya and I'll do anything I can to push along the PARC scene.

Thanks for the offer and I like your spirit, but I can get it from down here.

I am just looking for thoughts from our members before I just start making a schedule up by myself. We are a club and should work like a club.

I want to be able to go up to NARCCA comps as well as have you guys be able to come down here.

I was hoping for a bit more input but maybe it's early for them??

I will speak only for myself...I want it to be time for all the other club members to step up and decide whats going on. I have yet to be contacted by tom or KJ...KJ im not missing in action,still here and phone still works ! Tom, too early...same goes for you, my phone still works with no contact.
So ,Tom if you want to get things going post up a proposed schedule,you dont need my approval,as this is a CLUB. KJ you want to make us a schedule...do it ! south mtn is just fine for me.

Dont take this as attitude rather if you know me its direct and to the point.
my work schedule has changed and I honestly dont have any idea of my availability. I will participate when I can

That's what I figured just pushing the rest of the PARC crew along, you've done/do your part as discussed ; Cant wait to whoop yall no matter where/when haha

I'm in the same boat Marc , I'm working second shift now so I can run my own shop during the day so getting up real early in the morning some weekends isn't going to happen , I will make the meets I can and support the club . I agree we should leave room in the schedule to participate in the NARCCA events since its nice to get out of the valley every now and then not to mention the rock and company are epic up there . I've been working on a 2.2 sporty even though I said I wouldn't so I'm hoping to have 2 rigs ready to run but I need to check up on the rules for the sporty to make sure I'm building in the rite direction . Also Marc I need to get hold of you about a (life ?) battery for my 4PK radio , the original now has a life span of about 15 minutes so I've got a problem . I lost your # when my old phone died so I don't have it anymore , please give me a call or pm me when you have time

I wasn't waiting or putting any of this on you, I know a lot of where you stand. I planned on giving you a call but I have been way to busy with work (146 hours just last two weeks) and I hate trying to call you without knowing your work schedule as I don't like to bother you when working.

I know I can call Mike whenever but I've been wanting to get over there and buy a bike.

What I have been hoping for is some thoughts and ideas from our other members new and old. I don't want to throw it out there like its this or nothing.

I will start putting together ideas soon.

it hasn't Erin, posted an idea for the season 3 + weeks ago, and nothing ?! itching to crawl, but not sure whats happening. guess i will try and get a scaler going instead

I have put together ideas and I am changing them around.

Nobody put much input so I didn't think there was a hurry yet.

Now I guess there is since the temps just took a drop.


Give me your ideas and I can work with them as well, please.

here is my idea..... just pick the dates and post them, somebody needs to stoke the RC Comp fire with the competitors,Im sorry but I cannot be that involved..please dont let all the work we did in the past go away!! some of US put our heart and soul in this,some cant be involved like before..we NEED new leaders to get this started. I'll be coming off of working nights in about a week.....i was really looking forward to some crawling. Has everyone gone to scaling and whatnot? Should I trade in my super?
