We will have a short course timing system, and track pylons set. Raffles, racing, and free stuff! Come out and Race the very first U4 RC Race in Arizona's history!


CLASSES:
U4 Open - All Yeti's, and other 2.2 rigs who dare enter
Solid Axle - 2.2 Solid Axle rigs such as the Wraith, etc
1.9 Trail - 1.9 Solid Axle rigs such as the SCX10, Vaterra twin hammers, etc

yes, transponder. have an open port please, transponders provided.

i am checking on that with scorer.
i believe you need a Y connector, that should work,(pending verification)

transponders are the infrared type, iridium transponder,
made by Trackmate.

scorer has 20 transponders so 10 cars run, 10 waiting (on deck).
should move smoothly.

So I need to get the Cherokee on par this week. Need a faster motor tho. Or just run on 3s

i won't be able to get a motor till after so its either a tekin 35t hand wound on 3s or a traxxas 12t titan 550 on 3s. the brxl should push either just fine. just my drivetrain might not like it considering its basically stock. and the yeti needs tested.

They have been keeping mostly to Facebook lately but it is happening. They were practicing all day yesterday.

I attended this competition today in Payson. The track was challenging for all drivers. The course layout worked well with the Payson Multi Event Center landscape. The track was fast. There were several off camber climbs out of the wash area at both ends of the track and the elevation changes kept the track marshals busy especially at the start which featured a Land Rush Start complete with the 30 second girl holding her sign and standing on top of a SCX10 50's panel wagon. Hopefully RocketDogRC will post some video of todays race highlights. The back straight featured a couple of rock hazards and a table top jump that was action filled. They had electronic scoring and an announcer keeping track of each lap and adding commentary during every race. The trophies that were presented were VERY nice, each class had one for first second and third place. After the race they had a raffle for some nice stuff as well. Thank You to those who put this race on and for the volunteers who helped make it happen! YOU ROCK ! (pun intended)
