A.S.T.R. Scale Comp #3 - Sunday Feb 28th - Casa Grande

Comp #3 is at an old favorite location of mine and a new favorite of many others after our last comp down there. See Map for directions... https://www.google.com/maps/dir/32.9...e3!4m2!4m1!3e0

We will be running three classes, each class will run 3 courses with an 8 minute time limit each:

Class-1 “Street"
• Description - A street legal off-road vehicle that you would drive to work or the trail head and outfit like an expedition vehicle such as the Camel Trophy truck D90 rigs.

Class-2 “Trail”
• Description - A stock vehicle that has been modified to become a capable trail rated rig and is not necessarily street legal.

Class-3 “Modified”
• Description - An off-road vehicle that you would build from the ground up and might see in a TTC/KOH type competition.

We will have a short drivers meeting @ 8:30 and will start the comp at 9am so please try to arrive early and have your scale points figured out in advance or they will not be added to your scores.

For those that haven't been to a A.S.T.R. scale comp yet dues are $5 a comp or $25 a season due at sign in Sunday morning.

If you would like to help set courses I will be on site by 7am.

Also we could use some help judging so if you are able to help let me know, it will help move things along.

Just picked up a axial bomber from tower hobbies today. It would be cool to meet some local scale guys near me.

Will do! Im not really a U4 guy, i just like the bomber. I will mostly C3 comp it and bash with it. Im considering picking up a SCX10 to C2 with as well. I tell the girlfriend it will be for her haha.

I dont have facebook so i cant keep up on ASTR news and info. My phone wont open the east valley trails map that is stickied. But i found a way around that wity a google search.
