ASTR Comp #2 - Bad Lands Scores

We had a great comp yesterday although it did get a bit hot. The courses were a lot of fun, technical but totally drive-able for most everyone.
Thanks goes out to the course builders for a job well done!

I'd also like to thank everyone for coming out. Bad Lands is one of our favorite spots.

The scores were tight this time with just a few points separating your top five drivers in C2. C1 was a small group, hopefully we will have more drivers as the season progresses.
C3 had 7 drivers this time, down from our average of 15 last season. Hopefully some of our drivers from last season will make it back out again as we move along.

I'll take it!! Been awhile since this happened. I'm really stoked because I really didn't feel like I was driving well, made a couple rookie mistakes.

Looks like there is going to be some battles going on this year. Can't wait to see how it shakes out.

I wish I woulda winched course 3 gate 8 after the first attempt. Wouldn't have had that nasty dnf in there. Oh well. Hopefully the humvee starts performing how I want it to soon. Will have to wait 2 weeks before I get to swapping the tub out for some rails and getting the better steering, interior, and detail work buttoned up.
Or find an mrc and revive the old willys. This time add lots of weight down low.
