Hey everybody! Superstition Hobbies is having another event this coming Saturday July 7th. Local media wants to do a story. It starts around 10:30 AM - 1pm. Come on down and let’s show everyone how much fun RC Crawling and Scaling is! We all know how great the sport is, let’s show everybody else what it’s all about. See You There!

I'll be there. Hopefully my one 5500mAh battery lasts the whole event.

Thumbs up Re: Queen Creek Indoor Crawling Track

Hey all, It was a good turn out today. The gal doing the photo shoot had a lot of rigs to choose from. I believe she is putting together a “Things to do in Queen Creek” area booklet. More on that when I find out for sure from Superstition Hobbies. I found out my Wraith has it’s limits. It is totally stock so trying to climb up the main ramp was a challenge let alone trying Mission Impossible( a really steep and narlly part of the coarse). I could only get it as far as the alternate route “ hole in the wall”. I think a different set of tires and moving the battery forward would do the trick. Just need more traction. The best rig there was a scaler, an SCX10 running 1.55 tires, that thing went everywhere even up Mission Impossible several times. Totally ruled the coarse. Goes to show you bigger is not always better! There was the usual carnage happening, stripped steering servo arms and front bumpers, wench equipped even, getting torn off and the occasional body and scale parts falling off. You really have to pick your lines and drive with finesse to get through this place. A good time was had by all! Thanks Superstition Hobbies! I look forward to your next event.
