Default Hello Everyone

My name is Tom, I have been lurking and reading a ton for about a month.
I started back into rc just over a year ago and run 1/8 scale Nitro.
I just picked up my first crawler on Tuesday and finished putting it together and modding it late Thursday night.

My new rig is an Axial AX10 Scorpian ARTR.
Novak Rooster esc and motor
Old JR Z650 servo (for now until I pick up a new one)
Spektrum DX3.0 radio
and a bunch of changes right out of the box

Made a few test runs today at Hobby Action.
Now its time to play on real rocks.

Hi all,

My name is Brent and I am in Tucson, AZ. I am new to crawling and I actually don't have a crawler as of yet. I am in the process of finalizing a trade for a Tamiya TxT-1. Hopefully all works out and I can get crawling soon!

Thanks,

Brent

Hello everyone,

My name is Travis and I live in North Glendale. I have had my HPI Crawler king for almost a year now and decided to start changing things up. It should be a completely different machine in the next week or so.

So far I have really only crawled around my backyard but I am headed to Moab in about two weeks and I plan on crawling a bunch there. A bunch of the guys at my work and I are moding away at these things and having a lot of fun. You'll see more from us here for sure.

Gilbert, Maricopa county.

Im brand new to crawling, mostly just find things to crawl over in my neighborhood and giggle when I see the Flexin'

I just got a Losi Nightcrawler with Integy shocks, metal geared hi-torque steering servo, and HB tires.

I am moving to Oregon soon, any tips on waterproofing/wet crawl tips?

Thanks!
ED

Hello everyone, my name is Shane. My son and I just got into r/c rock crawlers, but I've been into R/Cs since the early 80s. Our current list of R/Cs is in my sig, I has alot more R/Cs but I gave away most of them before we moved to Phx. We live near the I-17 & Bell road area, and there is a pretty decent crawling spot right at the end of our block. If anyone is in the area and wants to stop by and do some crawling shot me PM and we can set something up.

How you doing Shane!

As you've probably seen, we have an active group crawlers here in Phx. We just finished our spring competition season and are about to go into hybernation for the summer. But as hot as it may get we won't be able to go until October without crawlin, so keep an eye out in this section to see who is getting together for some fun crawlin. There's always something going on.

Hello my name is Dan and also I'm new to the sport. I'm from North Glendale (59th Ave & Bell).

I'm still looking for someplace other than my backyard to crawl. If anyone knows of a spot close buy drop me a line and let me know.

My rig is a modified Redcat RS-10 2.2 class

I have not comped, but did attend the shootout in Prescott. I had a great time and look foward to getting more involved with the sport.

Hey everyone! I'm LT from up in North Scottsdale

My truck is a stock (for now) SCX-10 with a Hilux body (modeled after the 1:1)

I'm more into scale crawling than comps, but I usually crawl at the school down the street that has a wash area. (Currently looking for more areas, don't really want to drive 30min to crawl though)

Welcome!

We've got a pretty good group of guys and gals that like to scale crawl. The one thing I learned real quick living in Phoenix and crawling is if you want to crawl on some real good terrain and not just on rip rap or landscape rock your gonna have to drive more then 30 minutes in most cases. Trust me the drive is well worth it!
