Default NWARC 2ND COMP of 09

NWARC will be having their 2nd comp on Feb. 28th.

We are working on the indoor course at Hobby Town, If we can get it done ,it will be there. If not we'll have it at the fake dams. I'll keep you posted. Team Avery is going there tomorrow to start cutting foam. I get some pics.

I went by hobbytown a couple weeks ago and seen all the foam, looks like it'll be pretty big!

Be better than freezin your nuts off outside!

It really sucks crawlin with cold tires.

Leave your nuts with your wife and change your foams, then you are good to go.

I think the one up in Bentonville, Arkansas. A couple of miles North of the Fake Dams. I am not 100% sure.

Don't think we'll get the indoor course finished by the 28th.

We will be having the comp at the Fake Dams #2

Feb 28th
11:00 to 11:45 is course building and sign-ins
11:45 Drivers meeting
12:00 comp starts

We'll be running 2.2 class 1st, followed by 1.9 class

3 courses with 8 to 10 gates.

Need to know more just ask on here or PM me.

I would ask everybody if going down to practice , that you would do it on Dam 1. Trying to keep it fresh for the comp.

I wanted to come check this out, but I will be leaving for duty with the Marine Corps Reserve that day.

I did make it up to HobbyTown this past Thursday and talked to a guy named Todd about his Losi MRC.

I really think that I would like to build my own 2.2 sometime, but with another deployment overseas coming up, I want to get something that I can run now, and then build my own later on. This also gives me more time to research and learn.

I hope to meet more of you guys before I leave, and hate that I won't be in town for this one!!

We'll be here waiting for you. 1.9 class will be a fun class. Maybe when you build your 2.2 the new Losi will be out. It's suppost to be a good one, all ready to rock.

Have a safe trip.

I should have my super up and going (TCS NN). Getting 90% of the parts today.

You'll hear me comin' with the excess amount of bb's the guy put in the mega huge tires (I think the Losi Claw MT's).

Still have to get the dig wired up and the tires will be later.

you guys ever thought about a "tough truck" series to run along with the crawlers?

No, I've seen some other clubs do that. Looks like it could be fun.
