Default cool spot to wheel in Hot Springs

here is a map.
http://www.mapquest.com/maps?city=Ho...geocode=STREET
Its the next exit past Magic Springs on the right. Once you take the exit you will turn right onto Gorge Rd. Once on Gorge, drive about 500ft and look to the right... and thats where you will see heaven. There is a parking lot up the street about 150ft. Make sure you DO NOT park on the little sholder area (its illeagle). The cops there are ticket happy and fines double in the national park.

also there are tons of other great places down this road so take the time to drive through to Sleepy Valley Rd. Past that point theres not much else, so you may as well turn around there.

I have been into RC crawling now for about a week so I'm a noob you might say. But I run the local off road shop and am a huge wheeling junky. Trust me I know all the good spots. Theres also an awsome place at the top of west mountain. A lava flow off of spring street. A huge mountain about two mile past Superlift ORV on the right (past the yellow gate) that is about a square mile of crawling area. There is even a 300 ft hill covered in small bolders all the way down my Apt. complex. also a place at the damn.... I can go on and on.

Give me about 6 months till I get my house finished and get settled in. Because I plan to build a comp corse on the three acres I just bought.

I met josh (If he works at hoddy town) this past weekend. And BJ had told me about his plans last month. Sounds like a cool deal to help grow the hobby. But I know how hot that parking lot gets, and if its a weekend with lots of rigs they run the sprinklers to cut down on dust (so know you will get wet). I doubt I will spend to much time there with my RC espesialy with all the trails that are already cut for real rigs. But would love to help if you want to work on it when I'm not working.

I would love to gear up with you guys and get some organized events going.

What off road shop do you run? Yeah, that spot at the offroad park will be murder in the dry, hot season.

Oh and thanks for the comp. Was yours one from Tim Parker. Or did we do the lift for you? I have done a million so can't recal them all, but i'm just seeing if I know you already.

New place meaning gorge road. You guys lifted mine back in June of 07, not one from the dealership. Red 2 door, one of the first ones yall lifted, at least that is what the guy at the counter told me. I had to run around with my 4" lift and 265 70 16's on it for a week till my tires and rims came in. Was quite humorous!
