Come to any and all of the events that you want. There are several different types of events throughout the year to mix it up.

What do you recommend if I just got into the hobby in august

Prizes,no,not at the comps.
Bragging rights..mostly and awards at the end of the season.


The G6's may have a few prizes for class winners.


The 10hr g6 is gonna be off the chain with finishing prizes!

A 5000mah lipo will get you @2hrs or so..maybe depending upon your setup.

Scale comps..you'll be fine. 3 courses..6min each

G6 is usually 3-5hrs long and a nightstage @1-2hrs long

Id acquire another if it was me.
Have 1 in the rig and one in waiting or on charger.

I carry 3-4 packs with me whenever i go somewhere to comp/g6.

Okay probably won't make the G6

Does it cost money to be in the Competitions?

are there prizes at the g6

Scale comps are free..

G6's have entry fee's usually.

None of our events are about getting prizes though but it is a bonus when vendors sponsor/donate.
