Default my basher ax-10

Goodies:
55t Lathe
Mamba Max ESC
Futaba Radio and reciever
Mashers M3 compound, fronts sipped
kreepy krawler red foams in the front stock mashers in rear
Integy MSR10 internal sprung shocks w/ 100wt oil
Axail bent lowers f/r
Axail slippery sleves for links and steering (work awsome)
HD driveshaft upgrade on the way
7 split cell batt packs on front axle
R2 trans in the mail
Tube chassis
The integy shocks work great slow droop on them so the will carry a tire over a hole.

It's called Slick Sleeves. It's a teflon tubing that you slide over your lower links to protect them, but more importantly helps them slide off rocks easier.

well its definate, I am gonna get an "edge" tube chassis for this thing, I am tired of buying 20-35.00 bodys and end up hacking them all off but the cab, I'll spend the cost of 3 bodies/paint on an edge. But I am gonna make up some quick body post connects to be able to put on my 72 chevy long bed body thats all custom painted. Makes my ax-10 look like a scale rig, wheel base is almost perfect.

you can get those teflon base hoses from a hobby store that specializes in boats
they place them between the braz tubing and the spring drive .

I would have thought your tire would have just slipped off the bottle.

ok well I ditched the rooster crawler and went with a mamba max... no more glitching, I took it out on the rock and broke my rear output shaft on the trans and broke the lower plastic rod end on the lower axle side, so I ordered a R2 trans and Aluminum rod ends for all the links, will post pics up around sat.

when I bought them the guy said that the ones who bought them ran them upsidedown to aid in clearance on the frame, and that they have had good luck with them that way

Thanks for the info. I will check them out because my plastic end links are starting to show the signs of stress a couple are starting to crack.
