Thumbs up My AX-10 TCS X-TRAIL Jeep

Got this thing almost done!! Decided to use my PTI crawlers body on it...
I got the hot racing trans mount and the motor mount with heat sink all worked well but the motor mount I needed to grind a little of the fins down because hot racing made it wrong they did not grind enough of the fins away ..the back of the spure gear plate where you thred the 3 allen screws in hit the sink fins and it did not fit...but once you do the grinding on the fins in this area it works out great!
So what do you guy's think of it?

I like that Jeep body on there, looks very scale. Was thinking about getting one, then ordered the Edge, so no need for it now, unless I go back to the X-Trail setup. Where did you order the plate from?

Are those 1.9s or 2.2s?

Looks pretty good! Are you going to mount a front bumper? What tires are those?

I mocked it up for you just so you can see if you agree with me, I think if the winch was still there it would look really nice on that scrapped rubi body

Wow it looks great, the body looks awesome on there!

This is definitely one of my favorites.

Once you get it out on the rocks or trail please e-mail me some of the pictures.

Im not really sure how you would go about that, either mount it to the body or to the chassis. I have mine mounted to the chassis using a few spare peices I had laying around. its sort of a cob job but it honestly works fine and looks pretty clean. once you have the bumpers you want you sort to have to just wing it, or at least thats how I always go about it. Im sure other people have better ways, thats just how I do it. I'l keep watching, I love your rig, the 1.9's are tempting for my bronco but I already have it set up for 2.2's, so maybe someday...

Nice looking jeep! It looks like mine, even down to the black hood! What color paint did you use?

That's funny!
The paint i used was the parma faskolor i mixed the pearly looking yellow with some charcoal color and it made it kind of like a yellow greenish color.

im with diesel fuel. Suspension needs lowering just a tiny bit and it will look great. looks real good now. Oh and even the wheels slightly resemble the one to the one aboveth.

nice rig, i like the trail ride look better than rock climb, but you dont get as much travel with it do you? i guess it depends on what shock setup you go with. i like the hi ride look also ,
