I'll bet that rig sidehills and does verticals very nicely with 2" under the skid.

Very nice SW3 you have there

here are some pics with the new body mounted. thanks again ftr

I also installed the new losi shocks. they are awesome a very good upgrade. I used to run a R2D. Last week when i was crawling, I got into a bind and broke 2 teeth off of one of the gears. I didnt know it so I kept crawling. I tried to put the tranny in dig, and my whole dig unit fell off of the back of the tranny. I was like wtf. So I take it home and disassemble the truck. Come to find out, the gear had lost its teeth and the screws that hold the dig on, broke off into the back of the tranny. I havent had this tranny for more that 2 months. So now Im going to run my axial tranny with a home made dig until I can get one of the new ones coming out. I never would have thought a Novak Goat had that much power

cool auctually I just changed the belly clearance because of the comp. i was watching some video and it looks like there are alot of loose rock. I am used to slick rock where I dont have to worry about getting hung up. It is right now 3" but I can adjust it down to 2" if needed. Im just not real sure what the rocks are going to be like.

Well if you can get away with 3" of belly clearence and still have a low COG I would set it up that way for the comp. I know there are some pretty steep sidehills were the COG helps a lot and some breakovers where the GC helps a lot sooo. Set it up how you feel comfortable!!!

here she is done. I decided to wait for the new dig so none right now and doubt there will be before the comp. I also added the tcs spool in the front and rear to try to avoid stipping lockers.

What gear are you running on the Goat brushless motor with the R2d ?

I was running the 8t that came with it. I bashed it hard today and the axial held up fine. I also like the smoothness it better than the r2d.
