I got this rig from another member (Neuera), It was a great start, but I can leave nothing alone.
Started off with basic Axial kit, M3 Moabs, Tazer15 ESC, Custom bent lower links, 645mg Servo, Futaba Radio gear, and the General Lee bug body.
First thing I did was CKRCCrawler Version 2 mod. I loved it, but I was getting allot of torque twist still.
So after allot of research here I went with the Losi shocks, new delrin lower links, Mamba Max w/CC BEC, Starcut foams, and Losi Claws.
Also I talked wih my buddy that does allot of suspention tuning, and 1:1 crawling. He gave me an idea that I am trying out. We will see, if it does not work oh well it did not cost me anything but time.

Let me know what you think...next on the mod list is the radio gear...sorry Futaba, time to upgrade again.

I would say you have mounted the upper links higher. Using the holes which are for the bodymounts.

How does it perform? Any better with the torque twist now?

asfaras I see it, they are mounted just like ckrc stage 2. or am I wrong?

Swiss got it right...my buddy was talking about moving up the link to help traction. We will see how it works. no more torque twist at all though.
Oh and yes my tranny is reversed. That was supposed to help with torque twist, but it did not work.

if you leave the front like your buddy did to mod and do the opposite for the rear make the link go from the chassis(original location or 70mm location) up to the axle, you will likey even more"thumbsup"

^^^Thanks for the tip...I will try it if I do no like this setup. I have tons of ideas and no time to test them...LOL. I work forty plus, and I own my own company besides my job. Just the couple of minutes that I had to play in the backyard it did very well. I won't have any more time until this weekend for testing.
I just purchased some more radio equpment...I am sure that there will be no more glitching with this stuff, and I will not have to worry if anyone is on my channel. The bad part is it will not be here by this weekend.

So my new M11 and Specktrum module came in. Wow this radio is way overkill, but I tell you my glitching problem is gone. After some tuning and tweeks to the ESC I love the new set up.
I switched to a Losi red in the driver rear corner...it seemed to help out with my TT. I still have it pre loaded down almost all the way. I will pick up a couple of stiffer ones this weekend just to try out.
So last night I was seriously loving my setup...making lines that I have never made. It is getting time to go and I give it one more run. "Trust your line" only goes so far...I backflipped it off the top of Mad Mountain (local indoor course). It was great until the landing...Pow! Broke the three link. Oh well time to pick up a couple of extras.

Well I spent the day at Dottens Point today and I am loving the new set up. Here is a run down.
-Axial Scorp stock chassis Tranny reversed
-Custom aluminum upper links 70mm
-Custom lower links .25 delrin 93mm
-Losi XXXL shocks with Traxas rod ends. Losi yellow springs fronts and right rear. Losi red let rear.
-10 wt oil in fronts 20wt in right rear and 40wt in left rear.
-JR z9100t steering servo
-custom stainless tie rod
-Mamba Max with Castle BEC
-7 cell split pack
-RCP rear lock outs and stainless axles
-RCP four links
-GH axle C's and Knuckles
-Integy 50 turn motor
-Traxas Stampede drive lines and yolks
-Spektrum sr3000
-Axial beadlocks with Losi Claws. 8oz in the front and 7.5 in the rear

Only plans in the future is VS dig witch should be here early next week.

the reason you were geting torque twist is because you didnt putt the black rubber spacers in your shocks. Its part of doing the stage 2. Make sure there in the shock body before you put the piston and shaft.

Not quite cowboy! :lol:Look close at my shocks. They are Losi not Axial. If you run spacers inside Losi's you get about a 1" belly clearance. Thanks for trying to help though.
I was getting torque twist because I am pretty vert and my other wheel is rubbing the rock. I made that climb on three wheels.

I was talking about the first pic you posted. The one with the orange body and stock shocks. Stock shocks do good with the spacers in it butt like you said the spacers in the losi's shocks just Don't cut it. Sorry for the mix up
